Opening in 1920 as the premier entertainment showcase north of downtown, the Garden Theater anchored the neighborhood for many years. Originally a vaudeville and movie emporium it is now the home of Short North Stage, a professional theatre company offering 50 weeks of programming each year. Tours will include a behind-the-scenes look at a busy theatre company while learning more about the history and architecture of this Short North landmark.
Tours of the Garden Theater/Short North Stage are available Saturday, September 14 at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
