The Columbus Museum of Art is Columbus’ 140-year-old, world-class art museum with a collection that includes outstanding late nineteenth and early twentieth-century American and European modern works of art. The Museum house the world’s largest collections of works by beloved local artists Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson, Elijah Pierce, and George Bellows. During this behind-the-scenes experience CMA staff will provide a focused “white glove experience” featuring works of art by George Bellows and Aminah Robinson that aren’t normally on view. See the works up close and personal and learn more about display, storage, and protective practices.
Tours of the are available on Saturday, September 14 at 1 p.m and 2 p.m. or Sunday, September 15 at 1 p.m and 2 p.m.
