Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) was formed March 4, 1872 and the Public Library and Reading Room opened in 1873 at the New City Hall. CML has since expanded to 22 branches, a Main Library and an Operations Center with more than 2 million items in its collection. CML’s purpose is to “inspire reading, share resources and connect people” and their vision is “a thriving community where wisdom prevails.”
Explore recent artwork from more than 30 artists participating in the Columbus Open Studio & Stage (COSS) tour. This preview exhibition is the perfect opportunity to see the diversity of styles, disciplines and mediums of the COSS artists prior to touring their studios in late September. Visit the Main Library’s Carnegie Gallery before September 30 to get a taste for what the COSS tour will offer.
