You can also park on the street in front of the building and enter through the front door. There will be a volunteer who will direct you to my basement studio space. Painting/Encaustic, Mixed Media

Melanie Stanley works in a wide variety of mediums and considers herself an abstract artist with a love and fascination for outsider and primitive art. Part of that fascination is attempting to uncover the primitive and emotional aspects of her own work.

Visual. Visceral. Feel. Do. Not. Explain. Paint. Do. Not. Think. I don’t necessarily have a vision, just a feeling. Making art because it’s inside you and needs to get out in whatever way it can.

I will be demonstrating painting/mixed media, combining different materials to create a final piece of art. I want to viewer to see that anything can be art.
