You can also park on the street in front of the building and enter through the front door. There will be a volunteer who will direct you to my first floor studio space. I share this building with Laurie Schmidt, Heidi HeacockMelanie StanleySusie Jordan and Todd Rector, so please also check them out!

Corey Mitan graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design in 2015 with a degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. He is currently a full-time graphic designer who began pursuing a personal passion for illustration after-hours in 2017, jump-started with a three-week residency in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

My drive to be an artist and illustrator comes from falling in love with fantasy novels at a young age, and my desire to recreate their magic. My work is inspired by fantasy, myth and spirituality and rendered in bold colored pencil or oil paint on wood panel.

I will be demonstrating either: painting, showcasing the value foundation and how I go in with color and refinement as the second step; or, drawing with colored pencil, working on a final rendering. I’ll also display other pages, showcasing my sketches and pre-final work.
