My paintings are characterized by their unique combination of figurative imagery and surrealist abstraction. I create enigmatic compositions that employ an eccentric iconography of human characters, animals, and mythic forms within familiar-looking but imaginary settings. My paintings often display palettes of strong complementary colors and references to environmental issues, the internet, trauma, and gender.
I will be live painting a portrait with a model sitting for me.
