Welcome!
Parking will be available on both sides of Bryden in front of my home studio. Volunteers from Brandt-Roberts Galleries will be present to greet you, bring you into my studio, and help discuss my work. You will see my realistic oil paintings of human figures and still-lifes, both works-in-progress as well as completed paintings. While you’re in the area, be sure to visit Simon La Bozetta, Richard Duarte Brown, Mindy Staley and Bryan Christopher Moss just a few minutes away.

Bio
Born in 1982, Kendric Tonn earned a BA in English from Sewanee in 2004. Uncertain about his future, he lived in Japan for a year, traveling, teaching, and—most of all—drawing, before deciding on formal artistic training. He studied at Savannah College of Art & Design and the Florence Academy of Art, graduating in 2010.
Statement
“It is my hope in my paintings to provide a direct connection between human beings, unimpeded by the usual expectations and agendas of representation. If I can create, even for a moment, a flash of recognition in the viewer–the sense of connecting to another human spirit–I have succeeded.”
