I am located in a building that looks like a giant brick box, hence the name BrickBox Studios. Once you have parked through the gate in the back of the building, enter through the back door. You can also park on the street in front of the building and enter through the front door. There will be a volunteer who will direct you to my first floor studio space. I share this building with Laurie Schmidt, Cory Mitan, Sheila Terry, Melanie Stanley, Ramona Moon and Briden Schueren, so please also check them out!

Growing up on a family farm in rural Ohio influences Heidi Heacock’s artwork. She generally paint fields and a variety of landscapes. Heacock graduated from Ohio Wesleyan with a BFA, and currently lives and works in Columbus as an art teacher, zipline guide, and painter.
“In college I gravitated toward painting textural, mixed-media landscapes, and I’ve been experimenting with similar techniques/subject matter ever since. I enjoy adding found objects and materials to my paint. I like the illusion of depth it adds as well as the aesthetic appeal it provides.”
