Jacci Delaney - Columbus Open Studio & Stage

As you come down Grubb Street to Glass Axis the parking lot is the last driveway on the left before Town Street. Please park in the parking lot and come into Glass Axis. Turn left and go down the hallway to find my studio. It will be the last studio on the left. Once you arrive you will find samples of my cast glass work from the Mona Lisa, a glass teddy bear, and the Divided States in glass. Visitors will also see how I assemble my work and various molds for making my work.

Hot Casting Demo: Jacci will be doing a hot casting demo at 1 pm and 4 pm on both tour days (Oct 7 & 8). She will be casting hot class onto a carved graphite Mona Lisa with color. Check it out!

Jacci Delaney graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2008, receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a specialization in glass and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History.  She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Masters of Fine Arts in 2014 focusing on glass and holograms. Jacci is currently working on her art in Columbus and teaching at the Columbus College of Art & Design. She has shown works across the United States as well as internationally.

My work is geared towards the beauty of life and shows the hidden emotional content that we all hide in layers from each other. Holograms and glass emphasize this through their transparency and layers. Some of my subjects are people dealing with loss, mental illness, PTSD, and the joy of marriage and breastfeeding.
