Queen Brooks - Columbus Open Studio & Stage

Blue Haven Art Studio resides within a little blue house with walls crammed with art and spaces filled with art materials, personal treasures, and interesting collections. The sweet aroma of wood burning will fill the air as the artist gives demonstrations, inviting adult visitors to make a mark or two on a piece of wood. Bright, colorful, warm art and people will greet you at the door. A blue stone goose and a multi-colored car will greet you in the driveway.

Wood burned images, drawing, printmaking, painting, mixed media

I work in many mediums, but most known for my colored wood burned images. My studio exhibits a multitude of works and styles of my creation. I also have small works of other artist that are a part of my personal collection. My home is my studio and it gives one an opportunity to see how I live and work. It is my intention to present my space as a haven for art, calmness and peace.
