Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) was formed March 4, 1872 and the Public Library and Reading Room opened in 1873 at the New City Hall. CML has since expanded to 22 branches, a Main Library and an Operations Center with more than 2 million items in its collection. CML’s purpose is to “inspire reading, share resources and connect people” and their vision is “a thriving community where wisdom prevails.”

COSS Artists at CML Main Library Carnegie Gallery

Exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

With the support of Friends of the Library, the Carnegie Gallery creates unique cultural experiences for Columbus Metropolitan Library visitors by presenting quality art exhibits. From Sept. 7 – Oct. 8, the Carnegie Gallery will feature artwork by COSS Artists. The exhibit is a great opportunity to preview their work before COSS tour weekend. Join us at the gallery on Sept. 7 from 6-8 pm for the opening reception where you can meet and mingle with the artists. Carnegie Gallery is located on the second floor of the CML Main Library, and is free and open to all.
